FilmNation acquires 'Moon Disaster' spec

FilmNation Entertainment will the moon, nipping up Mike Johnson thriller spec script "In case of a Moon Disaster."FilmNation principal Glen Basner confirmed the purchase Monday and told Variety the budget about the project is going to be north of $35 million, making "Moon" the biggest Filmnation production up to now. The business's likely to go to company directors shortly.FilmNation principal Aaron Ryder will produce and Basner will manage worldwide sales.Story will concentrate on a modified version from the first moon mission, by which disaster hits the astronauts.
