Gregorio Gonzalez sets new projects
GonzalezChile's Gregorio Gonzalez, producer of "The Maid," has revealed two productions at Toronto: thesp Alvaro Viguera's "Perez" and Isidora Marras' "R. Lorena." Compiled by actress Elisa Zulueta, adapting her very own hit stage play, "Perez" activates a father's conflicted re-encounter having a 22-year-old daughter he's lengthy overlooked. Created by Antonia Santa Maria, pic toplines Santa Maria, Luis Gnecco, a star of Cinemax Latin America series "Profugos," and Natalia Grez ("Metro cuadrado"). Forastero, Gonzalez's shingle, has had co-production equity in "Perez," covering publish-push costs. "R. Lorena," a name thriller, follows a youthful lady whose mother suffers Alzheimer's disease and it is all of a sudden hounded by debt collectors, which mistake her for another person. Created by Forastero professional Josefina Undurraga, and co-created by 1.90 Cine Digital and Don Quijote Films, "R. Lorena" shoots early 2012. Meanwhile, Dominga Sotomayor's "From Thursday to Sunday" is within advanced publish-push, and Sebastian Brahm's "Roman's Circuit," screens Monday and Tuesday at Toronto's Discovery section.
